Drawing Apps
This drawing app from Autodesk is great for both casual and serious drawing. If you just want to doodle, simply fire up the app and start sketching straight away. For something more, there is a wide selection of brush types (e.g. pencil, airbrush) for you to customize (e.g. color, thickness), undo/redo features, symmetric drawing and layers for you to play around with. And best of all, it's free! You can also purchase the Pro version of this app if you would like more features.
Note-taking Apps
This great-looking and powerful app is a must-try for people who want to use their iPad to take notes. You can select the type of paper you want, write in different font styles, and sketch diagrams or write Maths equations easily. Notes are organized into different customizable folders where you can access them quickly. Great app for both students and professionals.
Handwriting recognition! Take notes in your own handwriting using the Architect stylus and have it transformed into standardized text. WritePad will also supposedly adapt and learn your style of writing. There are also gestures to select text, cut, paste, etc to make writing a seamless affair. Watch the demo video here.
